I was really thrilled to find this site. I owned a brand new 1976 Pinto Station Wagon which I custom painted and "souped up" back in the day, and a brand new 1980 Pinto Sedan (the last new Pinto sold in Cincinnati Ohio, bought in May of 1981) that I used to race in SCCA autocross racing. I know I have pictures of the 1976 around somewhere and when I find them I will try to post them. Here are a couple of pics of the 1980. I took these pictures in the fall of 1986, right after I got the Cannondale bicycle in the pictures. I have to be honest, the pictures were of the bike, and it just happened to be on my Pinto at the time. But it gives an idea of what they were like back in the day. If you look carefully, you can see the back side of the black tachometer I had bolted to the dashboard for the autocross racing. You can click on the links below each picture to see larger versions.

Thanks for the memories folks,

:welcome: Nice car, do you still own it?
Thanks. Sold it in 1990 with 144,000 miles on it. Was a good little runner.

That's a sweet looking ride. I can't believe how clear those pics are of your car. They must be some years old now...
Yeah, those were quite a few years ago, 1986 to be exact. I found another pic of the car without the bike. Of course it has me in my Cincinnati Reds jacket in front of it, trying to hide the dent in the front fender. This one was taken in 1988.
