Title: Throttle body injection for a 2.0
Post by: osiyo59 on April 14, 2007, 11:18:07 PM
Just was thinking about the 2.0 in my Squire and all the work I have done to the motor. A thought occured to me (yes it hurt) about a stand alone TBI unit instead of a carb. Has anyone done one or seen it done and if so, who makes it? Also, would it be a 2 or 4 barrel unit? Just thought (ouch again) I would throw that out there

When you switch to EFI, it won't matter if you oversize your throttle body like it would with a carb BUT it would make for a super touchy throttle and you might find it difficult to drive a low speeds. I'd go with the 2 bbl.
