it's been some time since I've last been to this site, and I have an update on my bobcat. after buying usless stuff on ebay, I found some parts for my wagon. first came the windshield gasket from autokrafters, and a dash mat from some other company. just recently I found a dash cap, and an H-pipe for the stock v-6. and I finally broke down and bought the steering wheel I wanted. it's a grant 3 spoke with the walnut grip. I post pics as soon as I figgure out how.

what part number is the grant steering wheel and did you need to buy an adpater kit for it to mount onto the pinto steering columnglad to see that your back
tony, you crack me up. the wheel is a part number 213, classic model with walnut grip. and the install kit is part number 3249. it is also listed as napa part number bk 7354019. the wheel looks right at home in my car. I took the car out for a drive without any mufflers, and other than being extremly loud, it made quite a difference in performance. today I bought a pair of thrush glass-packs for it and I'm thinking of using flex pipe instead of spending a fortune to have a custom exhaust fabricated. has anyone used flex pipe? is it worth a hoot?
krazi
Krazi,
Flex pipe is nice but it offers no rigid intergation between componants. That means you have to maximize the need for hangers. Well, There is no more room under a Pinto for hangers then there is for an exhaust. Check out my thread ThunderPinto gets an exhaust. There you will see how I fabricated some exhaust pipe sizing facsimiles so I could go to midas and have them copied. They offer a precise sample and Midas only charged me 5 bucks a foot. Do you have any pictures of that wheel?
