  I have been doing some reading as my pinto is a drag car so i kinda didn't pay to much attention to things. It was sold to me as 1976 but reading from your links 76 had a honeycomb grill this car has straight up and down bars. As far as vin number which number tells me the year old ones use to have a letter at the front this one is all numbers and i can't remember which number is the year something like the 7th one from the begiining or something like that.............................thanks
