Title: Pinto V8 Clutch
Post by: Pintogary on March 19, 2004, 10:41:55 AM
I have a '74 Pinto with a 289 V8, toploader 4 speed and Lakewood bell housing.  I have not been able to find a clutch linkage setup to work sufficiently.  Currently I am using a Wildwood hydraulic setup.  It works, but the pull angle is too great causing binding, friction... The main problem seems to be a lack of space to put it.  The tunnel is too close to the clutch fork. No room for modification due to accel pedal on other side.  I am curious how others have solved this problem.
