Title: 77 Cruising Wagon w/ rear bubble window and surf rack. Rare?
Post by: 77Cruiser on February 21, 2007, 05:20:24 PM
I recently inherited a 1977 Pinto Cruising wagon.  I've been told that the body style is  very rare due to the fact that it has a rear bubble window and the original surf rack still in place.  To be completely honest with you all, I have no idea about Pinto's and I really don't know what to do with it.  It does not run at the moment and we are considering selling it.  The body is straight with no rust.  All original interior and paint (both have seen better days).  The car has a lot of sentimental value, but time and money are really hampering our efforts to really work on it.  If we do indeed decide to sell it, how much value do you guys think a car like this has?  Any help would be excellent

:welcome: It really depends on condition and if it has all the crusing wagon parts on it.  I have seen complete cars sell for $700-$2K in the past 6 months on Ebay.  Some were rough and some were decent shape.  Look on Ebay and compare to what you have.  Just out of curiosity, what color combo is your car?
