Looking toward your experience on the top two oils for a Mustang 5-speed trans in my Pinto.Tried regular gear oil and it seems a little heavy cold in a drag car, not having any warm up time. Remembering Chrysler used atf in theres in the mid 60's perf. cars I tried that and I don't think it works all that well either, it was full synthetic to.Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks in advance

HEH I got those engine pics coming soon!!!!
A Ford dealer can give the best details if you know what year and car the tranny came out of.
AFAIK: All the w.c. T-5 5spds use ATF.

Little thunder,
I'd go with a 60 weight non-detergent and a jigger of STP oil treatment.

Two shots equel one jigger.
