What about a supplier for an exhaust header for street and solo events? Needs to fit a lowered 1973 std tran no air runabout. :-\ pintojoe
Racerwalsh.com used to have alot of that stuff. I'm not sure if they still sell 'em (They might have been bought out), but here's the website:

Racer Walsh sold Schoenfeld headers. I have seen the header and its a nice piece. You can also find them fairly regularly on ebay ( there is one on there now).
Schoenfled Headers are what I used, Do a search, and you should find them. believe you might find them in Cirlce Track, or Stock Car mags, in the adds.
Thanks for the info, did you have to do any motor mount modifications to get the Schoenfeld header to fit a 2000cc motor in a stock chassis? ???
I use the Schoenfeld header on my 71 Pinto stock elimn. drag race car. You will have to make a block for the right side. It is easy with the motor & trans in the car. Lots-o-luck
Thanks for the info. Have found an Headman that fits the chassis.

Hey Joe the only Hedman header that I found is for the 2.3. How did that work or is the exhaust ports the same on both heads, 2.0/2.3? Curios cause I want to buy one this weekend to go with my new intake and dist.
the bolt pattern and port shape are diffrent from the 2.0/2.3. The header I got was a used one from 73 Wagonracer for the 2.0. The header went on no problems if you can find one of these for your application( did not check if you have a 2.0 or 2.3) I say get it, there are no ground clearence problems with a lowered chassis with this Headman Header. If you look at the info on the IECO super flow header found on this web sight you will see the performance scoop and a picture. Happy hunting.
