Ok People, Who knows what will happen when I convert my 73 Squire from a C4 automatic to a T5 manual? Will I need to swap out the stock rear end for the one out of my 4 speed wagon? I don't have a clue what the gear ratios are. Any thoughts? :what:
If you have a 3.18 or 'better', you should be ok with the stock engine in the car (depending on how you drive, tire size,...). With 2.79 to 3.00 gears, 5th gear might be useless unless you are going down hills.
I run 3.40 gears in my EFI turbo/T-5 and I think it is perfect for the driving I do.
