Well, I may have found my parts car. I am talking to a guy in Georgia, west of Atlanta (don't know if he is on this site or not), and he has a red 73 trunk with a 1600/4spd. He is asking 1000, but I may be able to talk him down since it does have some body damage, and it looks like the interior might not be in the best of shape. I am selling the 87 Mustang to my brother, so I will probably use that money to buy the Pinto. Wish me luck.
Oh, and so I am perusing the Pinto stuff on eBay, and I run across this:

AND, right in my own backyard. If anyone here wants me to talk to the seller and see if I can arrange to go take a look, let me know. I will take my camera with me too.

Hello Doug,
Did you ever buy that 73 Pinto???
From Pintony
Unfortunately no. Times have not been kind in my new home, but hopefully change is around the corner since I have two tests to take this week for two rather large companies (TVA and BellSouth). I am praying one of these pans out. Not to bore everybody to death, but I had a job at a local oil change depot, and Laura had a job as a receptionist at a local vet clinic. The vet let her go (I believe they found someone willing to work for cheaper, not to mention they were about to have to start giving her benefits [90 days]) and shortly thereafter, the store I was working at got shut down (the owner got cleaned out by his ex-wife) so we have been in a bit of limbo for about the last two weeks or so.
Anyway, I am a firm believer that good things come to those that wait, but also God helps those that help themselves. We will see how it goes.
