I am in need of help on how to tie a sub frame in on a 1971 Pinto. It is going to be used for dragstrip racing.Or does it need to be tied in??? I was told if I did not tie it.It will not go down the strip stright.Any help would be great.I am putting in a 302 in it.Thanks. William.
The BEST way is a well built full roll-cage.
Make sure you build it in accordance with any rules that my apply at your track.

I tied my 75 together with 2x3 box, went flat to the front frame staight to the back. No floor mods required although it,s a little overkill on size, run a 2x2 piece across between to tie those together made it real stiff. Car launches straight and flat but it's a 2.3 motor. See pics in your racer 75 Pinto good luck
