Guys,
I just saw the following on eBay for a 1977 Comet.

Sometimes the pictures make the colors look a little different than reality, but this sure looks like my avocado green steering wheel and a matching avocado green interior.
I always thought that avocado green was a 1973-1974 exclusive (at least on the Pinto). Are there Maverick/Comet fans out there who can comment on that color being available as late as 1977?
What year did the Bobcat start?

As far as I can tell it looks like Avocado to me with the exception of the black horn button.

My Dad purchased a new 1975 Pinto to drive back and forth to work. It had the 2.3 w 4 speed, and was pale yellow with the green interior. He traded it in on a new 1979 Ford truck. It still looked brand new with 104,000 miles on it. My dad always took very good care of his cars. I remember the dealers auction house calling our house to see if it had 104,000 or only 4,000 miles on it. If I still had that car today. Hindsight is 20/20.

Bobcat started in the US in 75, but I think they made them in Canada in 74. That really does look like Avocado, or a cross between the old Ivy Gold color and Avocado green. The door panels/armrests look like Ivy Gold.
i just purchased a 1977 pinto cruising wagon with an avacado green. in fact i have both the cloth seats and the vinyl ones.
My 75 has the yellow exterior with the green interior. Not my favorite but it came with the car. ::)
