Hi all,
Is an '85 Merkur 2.3L turbo a bolt-in swap for a '77 pinto 2.3L?

If you have the whole Merkur, then you are way ahead. The more you have, the better. The swap isn't really that hard. You will have to put in all the wiring for the EFI and redo your fuel system for a high pressure fuel pump. Check out my site.

Yikes!  Thanks for the information.  It doesn't look like a walk in the park to do the swap.  I think I may chicken out...

 Go for it. Its a lot worse in a 71-73........ :o
