Repainting the front fenders on my 1971 Pinto. The original Pinto Script logos were removed (and holes filled in) and I would like to put them back on. Need to know the location of these logos. Thanks, Joe
Not sure of an exact measurment, but here's a pic.

Were the holes welded over, or filled with filler? If the latter, you could just scrape the fill out. If they're welded, just get them close, doubt anyone would notice.
BTW, I LOVE your car!! :hypno: I hope mine is half that nice when I'm done. I looked into getting a cowl hood like yours from Unlimited, but unfortunatly where I live, the shipping cost more than the hood! :( So I ended up fabricating my own.
Hello MrPinto,
What Pinto are youputting the scoop on???

Hi MrPinto: Thanks for the photo and kind words about my 71. Trying to finish off some detail work to make it ready for the All Ford Show at Knottsberry in April. I'll check to see if I can find the holes, otherwise close enough will work. I know what you mean about shipping expense for the cowl hood- not cheap but a nice piece. Joe

My '79 V8 sedan. The front clip is changed over to the 71-73 style and I needed hood clearance for the 408 that's going in in a couple months.
I have to update my project journal sometime soon.
