I need to know where plug 1 and plug 2 go. They were not connected to anything when I tore the car apart. I also need to know how the transmission metal vaccuum line #3 is supposed to look. It was missing from this car. I remember it installs in the vaccuum tree on the intake manifold but I do not remember how it routes. It does not look right here. The car is came from was a non power brake car. Not sure if there is a difference? Also, there is a holder on the metal vaccuum line that attaches to something, amyone know what to? Any help or pictures would be appreciated.
Hey Tigger,
Sorry I can not help you...
The city made me get rid of all my "Less than nice Pintos" that I would normally have on hand to take a peek at to give you this info.

Guessing... Those wires go to a anti theft box that I have never seen installed.
But I have the box NOS...
I have NO clue on the vacuum line???
On my 74 2.3 I think number 2 went to a plug in on the carb, hope I remember right
Hey Farmboy,
He already has a wire plugged into the carb...
See photo again...

Well there are two maybe three plugs that go to the carb. There is one to the choke that comes from the alternator harness. There is one to the bowl vent thing that is the red wire on this harness and I think number 1 goes to the dashpod thing that this carb does not have but I am not 100% sure. I have no idea what number 2 is for?
If you can make out the plug wire colors including stripes, dots, and/or hash marks, I will try to find them on the wiring diagrams. Also what year Pinto is it?
Hey Tigger, was getting the engine ready to pull on the 80 parts car last night and thought of you.... can't help w/wiring as I pulled all that awhile back but I can help w/#3
Thanks Cookieboy, that helps out ;D I figured the tube mounted to the side of the throttle cable bracket.
Happy to help... I just happend to be in the right place at the right time :)
