Title: winston tires
Post by: dholvrsn on January 09, 2007, 08:07:10 PM
Does anybody know if Winston is a good brand for tires? And if you could pick up four Winston PR205/60-13s for $50.00 each, would you? Would you mount them on 5.5" wide late '70s ET "turbine" mags? Thanks!

Hello Doug,
I found those tires on-line for 51.00 each.
They are a COOL look for the Pinto.
If I was still in the market for 13" tires I would by instantly...

I put a deposit on the tires, came back two days later, and found out that they could only get two tires instead of of the set of four. At least I got my deposit back.

Sooooo, does anybody know where I can get four 70 series tires in a 195 or 205 size for 13 inch rims in the Omaha or Sioux City area? Is there a web site that locates these things?

Thats a real tough pull.  Best I have ever done was 185/70R13.  I have tried every tire manufacturer website I can think of.

I'm running 205 60 13's on the back of my Falcon wagon...they handle them at Pepboys under the futura name brand manufactured by cooper... I also had bought Kelly tires in the same size Kelly Superchargers.

Thats right Frank, i believe Cooper  still makes the Cobra 205/60/13 and possibly the Avenger brand also. Oh, forgot Douglas too.
