My '72 with 351W, T10 4 speed etcetera before it got garaged for new front end stuff, Boss 302 and TKO 600 RR 5 speed.
Boss 302 getting close to ready. Mocked up with alloy heads, in case weight savings wins out over using the original 302B heads.

Hedman still lists headers for 302B and 351C equipped Pintos, so will probably go that route. Unless reality intrudes, as it sometimes does. In that case I will break out the welder and cobble something together...I hope.
how are you mounting the engine? with mII mounts or a motor plate?
nothin prettier than a black car when it's clean!

I have a motor plate to use if I go the Hedman header route, and still have the mounts were on it when the 351W was in it. I'm sorry I don't remember what they were from...either a swap kit set or from a Mustang II I reckon.
I own a black and gold Cobra II and think that your black Pinto is sharp. I am toying with the idea of purchasing a Pinto wagon to drop a V8 into.
Love the looks of the MIIs, and had a '75 MII Mach I way back when. I say go for it w/ a V8 wagon. In fact there is a nice looking wagon with a 302 and fiberglas front end on eBay right now, last time I looked. Decent price too. Can't wait to get my lil hoss back on the road.
