I used my 80 Pinto panel wagon for many years to advertise my business with our company logo on the side panels. Well I had to close up last year and I will be removing the tape decals. I'm looking for cool ideas the put on the plain white panels. The original multi colored graffics may have looked good back in the 70s but I feel they are too guady for today. No Flames! If anyone has any ideas please let me know. My 80 panel is in the club photo section as it looked 5 years ago.

Tom,
If you want an opinion, here's mine...feel free to delete if you desire.
Being from the old school, buying new and driving Pinto's in their day, being a nostalgia buff, I prefer the original factory stripes as Ford sold them. First of all a Pinto is a blast from the past, looks like it, drives like it...I just prefer them as they looked in the day. I think it shares with todays youth the character these cars had in the 70's and early 80's. Today's styling cues fit the styling of todays cars. Huge diameter wheels and low profile tires look good on some of todays cars, but I don't like them on a Pinto.
The gaudy color scheme and design of the Ford graphics speaks so well of the time these cars were in their hayday. If we don't show todays youth what that was, they will never know. Don't get me wrong, I like a nice paint job with a non-stock color and tasteful graphics as much as anyone else, I just like to see Pinto's showing their heritage.
OK, just my opinion, thanks for letting me rant.
