Title: 5 lug rotor (one more time)
Post by: IHRAPinto on January 02, 2007, 04:44:26 PM
Went thru past posts looking for help, would like to know if someone can tell me if these rotors from Ray Jays would work on a  Pinto (76/77), 76 already has 5 lug rear, just need fronts,  77 has stock 4 lugs all the way around, but would like to do swap in the near future.

MUSTANG II DISC BRAKE ROTORS
Convert to stock Mustang II 9-1/4" vented rotors with 5 lugs and a choice of 2 wheel patterns. 5-lug rotors and retain the stock brakes. Assembly has races installed. Bearings and seals not included. Rotor measures 9.25" diameter x .885" thick. Back of rotor to hub face is 2.25"

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hello IHRAPinto,
Not familiar with the 5-lug rotors from Ray Jays but if they are to fit MII then they should work.
Just pull the factory rotor and replace with the 5-lug should be all you need.

It might be better to email them.

I got my "Granada" rotor kit from them (first one on the page):

Good people, fast shipping, and the best price out there.

I talked with RJ on the phone earlier today and asked him, he stated that he has sold them to guys who used them for pintos, but he didn't know if any mods were needed. He thought it should just bolt right on, but suggested that I check and make sure, so you guys came right to mind. I knew if anyone would know, this would be the place, Thanks for the quick responses, I am going to order at least one set, I'll let you know the outcome when I get them on.
Thanks again!

If they are a Mustang II rotor with a different bolt pattern I don't know why they won't work.
