Title: C4 neutral safety switch
Post by: hoots on February 27, 2004, 08:43:26 PM
Have any of you swappers installed a neutral safety switch on the C4. The switch on the C3 was in the tranny, not sure where one should go on the C4. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

it bolts on the outside of the tranny where the shift linkage comes through.

Thanks. Just called the salvage yard and they have one. Wish I would have known before the tranny went in. Do you have a schematic for wiring it in to the original harness?

Get the wireing harness with the switch. It will plug into the harness at the fire wall.

The Neutral safety works but the reverse lights don't come on, any idea which wire controls the reverse lights?
