My Aunt, what a wonderful person.. My uncle works for a recycling company and brings home "trash treasures" all the time including old magazines. My Aunt decided to look thru the old car magazines looking for anything Pinto to give me for Christmas. All total I have 7 old Motortrends starting in July 1970. Included is the September 1970 with a 5 page writeup introducing the 1971 Pinto and interview w/John Naughton of Ford.
In the April 1972 is a full 2 page spread on the Ford Sprint cars and I thought of you Pintony..
Hey Cookieboy,
Thank you for saving the ad.
There is a Sprint Mustang that looks GOOD from the road.
it is locked behind a fence...
Wish I could find a Pinto in that good of condition...
I'm in the chat,
if you go there I will look for 3 people in the room.

If you are interested there is a copy of the above ad on Ebay, price is $12.50 and a little high imho.. But it is the center 2 pages of the magazine and if the seller didn't butcher the ad it would look nice framed and on the wall ;)
Otherwise I can send you copies of the scanned pages for printing.. much better quality than what I was able to post on the site and when printed w/a good pinter they actually look good. You will have to cut-n-tape if you wanna post on the wall.
Right ... Like I do not have that one already...
I'm the chat area too
I thought you would have a copy but when you didn't say you did.. thought I would offer..
eyes are watering and ready to fall over at the keyboard... time for bed me thinks.
back to the grind-stone tomorrow... haven't been to work for 9 days and don't really want to go back.. to much to catch up on.
Hey PINTONY Iused to have a sprint mustang fast back about ten years ago when I lived in Columbia Ill. talk about a fun car to restore and to drive around in. The looks and questions on why I would paint my car with that collor scheme and that crazy badge on the rear quarter where amazing. I tryed to get ahold of the guy that had the pinto sprint on ebay but no luck he is here in Phoenix I looked at the sell dates on his account and it doesent seem that he sold it hopfully he didn't crush it. So if any happens to see it again let me know about it please. Joe
