What is a XR4TI exactly???
An XR4Ti is a European car that was briefly marketed in the US by Ford through its since defunct Merkur division. If you look online at English Ford Sierras, they are essentially the same car, but with mild differences (excluding of course the right hand drive). The XR4Ti was sold here with the 2.3 inline 4 cylinder, specifically the turbo intercooled engine (although some non intercooled may have been in the mix...I am not 100% certain.) The '4Ti' is indicative of the engine (4-4 cylinders, T-turbocharged, i-intercooled) These cars were sold in Europe with cosworth motors, and the cologne V6s. That is about all I know off the top of my head. Do a search for 'Ford Cosworth Sierra' and you will find 'XR4Ti' most likely in a link on that same page.

The Xr4ti's were not intercooled from the factor. But they were fast and cool.
:sorry: There is no smiley to show me shooting myself in the foot...I stand corrected on the intercooled part....BANG!!
