i have got a 460 with no home.I don't want to put in a mustang.i like mustangs but everyone has one.one option is a 73 F100 short bed and that would be cool, but i want some thing differant so i thought about a mustang II or a pinto.can this swap be done and how and there any sites that can help with tech and parts
thanks
Welcome.
There is a post here somewhere with a photo of one installed in a Pinto. Also, there is a Pinto in central CT with a 460 that I have seen in person. You will need to do lots of cutting, but a very rare (and kool) swap. A Mustang II will be MUCH easier, as they are NOT the same as a Pinto. The engine bay is noticeably bigger.
IMHO: You can get all the info and advice you can, but when it counts, it's ALL you.
Go for it, and take lots of photos.
