Post by: douglasskemp on December 07, 2006, 01:16:15 AM
Hey all, going to go look at a '73 selling for $140 tomorrow.  Don't know anything about it except it's green on green.  Wish me luck.  I will keep y'all posted.

Well, it is a 2.0 4spd factory A/C sedan, lime green in and out.  Completely rust-free AZ (DSO 75) car.  Only a couple things look wrong with the car.  The right front fender looks like an accordian, both bumpers have minor bends, and the mechanicals need going over.  This car is straighter than the old 78 I used to have.  The biggest problem is going to be the paperwork.  The person I bought it from never finished the title transfer from the original owner because the original owner has passed on.  Her estate ended in the hands of one of her relatives, and he has no ambition to do anything besides be drunk.  I am going to call him tomorrow and see if he will be willing to get me all the extra paperwork I need from him for $50.  I also need to get the car towed back to my place so it can sit where the CobraII used to.  Hopefully the prospect of 50 bucks will be enough to convince him to at least give me a little bit of a helping hand.  I guess we will see.  Wish me lots of luck...I will probably need it.

Hey Doug,
It does not sound like you need "LUCK"
Sounds like you need to buy a 12-PAK or 2...???
I do not drink so maybe 50.00 is cheaper?????

IF you can not find a way to convince the ?OWNERS? to fix the problem.
I know a guy that has 100s of titles and a Pinto title is about 50-BUCKS...

Then I wanted to know how the wheels off of the Mustang would look; and a parting shot!
This is her.  She is definitely a keeper.
