Question: I'm trying to find a dash cap replacement, not just a cover to put over the existing crack one. Does anyone know how I gen get one for a 71?

I couldn't find anything on either of those sites. Are you sure those companies sell them?  :afro:

Check out some former posts.  in the general category, I've read post relating to the dash cap. or better yet type in the words dash cap in the search window and you will get all of the posts in that category.

  I saw some on Ebay last nite when I was going thru the ford pinto selection, I think they were under a 100 bucks and they covered all years of the pinto
