Now thats someting "really " different. Wish I had one............. ;D
i looked up the address on the brochure, and it is a residential address. house was built in 1972 and is now for sale. but that might of been their mailing address, and maybe had the shop where they built these elsewhere
thats a very kewl concept....I wonder where they all went....
Must do some back research.

A quick search turned up this tidbit of info.

We need to get our hands on that issue of Autoweek.
I think we need to contact this gentleman and post a interview.
maybe a PCCA member in Canadia can handle this?

Hi, I know it has been a while but does anybody have any leads on where John Hansen might be or his Hanto Pinto? Would love to chat/interview him and pass it on.
I wouldn't be surprised if John was still in Canada, probably one of the western provinces.
Back about 1974 he and his wife were splitting up and the story goes that when the police came one night looking for John's son (his wife had custody) the kid was nowhere to be found. The story continues that he had secreted his son in the attic and when the police left he packed up, threw the car (he had a 289 Shelby Cobra) on a trailer and drove to Canada, never to be seen from or heard from again.
I am not certain what happened to the prototype. It may have been left in the garage in Hyannis where the development work was done. If that is the case then it was likely sold to cover any debts that he left behind.
About a year ago I saw some brochures come up for sale on eBay from someone in Canada. When I sent a note to the seller asking about John the stuff was pulled from auction and I never heard a reply.

Thanks Jim for the update.
It will definitely be harder for me to track him down if he is still running/hiding from something/somebody. If you EVER happen to run across the E-Bay seller's I.D.name, please let me know. :police:
