Hello Group,
OK so I am lazy...
Does anyone know what the stock width of a Pinto rear end measures
Wheel mounting face to wheel mounting face.

Hey Tony
The rearend that came out of my '80 measures 57" mounting face to mounting face on the drums.
I measured the 8" M2 that i put in, but didn't write it down so CRS took over & it is gone, it's not any

Tony, I just went out back and measured both of the 8" rears I have. I have one of each behind the shed.
Measurements are as follows:
Pinto: 57" drum to drum; 42" on center perch to perch.
M II: 57.25" drum to drum; 42" on center perch to perch.
Hope this helps!

Thanks Doug,
I'll have to pull out my Lincolin Versalies rear and check the width...
