I'm new here, and the proud owner of a 1977 Mercury Bobcat three door. The floor pans are pretty much gone, with the exception of the one holding the 2 x 4 the drivers seat was bolted to underneath the carpet...any sources available out there? I've found a local restoration shop that is willing to fabricate the floor pans and fenders with no problem, if need be. I know they can do the work (the shop is filled with cars worth more than my home) and I can't weld anyway, but what other possibilities might exist? Thanks for the help. My original car was a 1978 Pinto Cruising Wagon that I miss terribly. Gotta find another one.

AFAIK: There are no companies making them aftermarket. If you can find a donor....
Welcome.

I had a local body shop fabricate new floor pans a few years ago. should only cost around $50 per side.

Thanks. I'm going to give it a try with these folks and see what they can do for me. I just have to get the seats and carpet out so they can take a look at what needs to be replaced. They are strictly time and material so until they get a look they can't even begin to guess what it might cost. I'll keep you all posted. If by chance they could be talked into making a few more, would anyone be interested?
