How many different styles of factory Cruising Wagon graphics were there?
Well I know there was a difference in the '79' to '80'. I believed they used the same grapics all the way back to '77' (the '79' design). That is as much as I know.
I was looking at a body parts list I got off ebay today for something else and...
I see 7 types of "stripe tape" graphics for the 77 and 78
4 for the coupe and 3 for the cruising wagon
I guess I could scan it and send/post a copy tomorrow
here ya go...
I was always under the impression the style "#7" was '79' and earlier for the Cruising Wagon. I know they had an (as listed in a sales flyer) "All New Design for 1980..." which isn't listed there (on that pic). Style "#6" I've never seen before, but just another Stripe Package availible was the "RALLYE" stripe also.
the graphics above are "stripe tape" or stickers for 77 and 78 years
got this from a body shop manual w/part #'s and estimated times for repair
I don't have any info on the 79 and 80 years
and I could be wrong but I think the official Rallye wasn't offered until 79
I did a bunch of google searches for Pinto Rallye and all pointed to 79 and 80's
with a couple of others calling their car's Rallye's (a 71 and a 76) but I do not believe that Ford offered the Rallye till 79
