Glassman,
Let us know how this product works out for you. I checked out the website. Looks like a decent product.
I have used POR-15 original and a variety of their products and love them. They make a great product for treating bare metal called Marine Clean. I have my entire undercarriage painted with the product along with all my suspension and brake pieces in either black, chassis black or silver. They also have products for restoring inside a rusty gas tank.

You have to make you have the room and coordination when doing some suspension parts. The control arms and misc. parts look great. I went with the kit that has enough to do 50 square feet. It comes with Marine Clean, Metal Ready, Silver POR-15, and Chassis black topcoat.
POR-15 goes a long way and I had a little waste on the first try. I had to use silver because I have some badly rusted spots.
This stuff takes a long time to do right. Figure about 12 or more hours for 2 coats of POR-15 and 1 coat of topcoat. The paint needs to be almost dry before you can apply another coat. That takes about 4-5 hours each coat, depending on humidity. You can buy a primer that goes over dry POR and Topcoat that lets you apply topcoat. I dont have the primer so, I do it the long way.
So far it is living up to the claims.
It does give off some potent fumes along with the Metal Ready. I bought an organic resperator and am now thinking a little clearer. :o The Metal ready is an acid and I found out will get on the face. Though I was careful....I geuss I wasnt careful enough. I got some light burning. ::)
No big deal, just, uncomfortable.
Be sure to have plenty of little cups or bowls and desposable brushes when applying. I wrap the brushes in plastic between coats. I use plastic spoons to stir and scoop the paint out of the can. I followed a tip on the website of using plastic wrap between the lid and the can. This allows you to remove the lid once opened and resealed.
I have bought some Epoxy Putty and Magic Matt(I think is what its called) and Ill report what that is like.
The epoxy putty is excellent. Im going to get more.
