I am looking for some incite on the following topic: Pinto Explosions. I am working on a project for my university that involves automobile safety. I know that there was a lot of controversy in the mid-70s about the Pinto and Ford Motor Company. I was wondering if anybody out there has had first hand experience with the "exploding gas tank". Anything would probably be useful, stories, video clips, facts, charts, etc...
