I need help removing my headlight switch or at least the front part of it. I want to change the bulb so that it lights up at night when i turn the headlights on.
Also, if anyone has a copy of the starting/seatbelt instructions that came with the 78's, i could sure use a copy. I have a bid for one on ebay right now but the last car show of the year is Saturday and even a black and white copy would be great
e-mail me at moparmark@wi.rr.com
there is a small button on the body of the switch. push it in and pull the knob all the way out.
unscrew the front piece off from the dash and remove the switch.
I maybe wrong, but i do not think the head light switch has an illumination light on it.If i am wrong will someone please let me[us] know.
I could be wrong but the wiper switch had one so i just guessed that the headlight switch had one. If it doesnt, please let me know
Thanks for your help
Mark
PS: any luck on the starting instructions sheet?
As far as I know the wiper switch is the only one that illuminates. I have never seen the headlight switch illuminate.
Then I will leave it alone. Now how about a copy/scan of the starting instruction sheet. I have a decent bid on one but it does not end for a couple of days and the last big show of the year is tomorrow. (we put everything away when it starts to get cold in WI)
That seems funny to me. That the wiper switch has a light, but for the light switch there is no light. Seems kinda dumb to me.
