My TPS went out on my turbo engine and as that happened it sucked down a half tank of gas to get me less then 20 miles back home. I replaced the TPS and it now shutter as if out of time and still pouring out the gas smoke. Any clues or suggestions??? Thanks.
Did you use a multi-meter to set the TPS or just bolt it on?
Jake
The engine was put together by another guy so I dont know how he did the original. I just bolted on the new one and hoped for the best. How should I do this? I am not a mechanic but I do LOVE my Pinturbo and want it running again. That was the first day and cant be the last!
This is what you need here.

Post if this fixed it or not.

I have adjusted the TPS and replaced it. I am getting about 4 miles to the gallon and still spitting out blue smoke. Not sure what to do next. The car seems to run good except for the smoke and gas milage.
Sounds like it might be time for a compression check and a leak down. It also sounds like a stuck injector and a fuel pressure regulator.
Jake
blue smoke=oil burning
With EFI cars it can also mean a way rich condition caused by a stuck injector. Either way I would make the first test a compression test.

I fixed!!! It was a bad setting on the TPS and IAC. I also timed at 10deg. Thanks for all the help. I went to the site listed above and walked the steps and BLAMO!!!! It was fixed. Does anyone have any pics on how the LA3 and extra sensor is installed. I have the wiring diagrams but not enough info on the sensor eveyone is talking about. I am new to the wiring aspect. Thanks again for all your help, you guys are awsome!
Glad you got it sorted. Try this for the LA3 install.

Thanks! That will be all I need.... hopefully!
I have tried it all! It runs well but not great with the IAC disconnected but when its connected it idles way to high. The idle screw is down all the way and dont know what else to try. I get better gas mileage but not like it was. It has a mustang TB on it and was wondering if I should put a stock one back on?
