;D
as my subject says I'm new here. Not new to the Pinto's though. I'm on my second "Project Pinto". My first one was learning experince, V8 swap, the 2.3 Turbo Swap, 6 pt Cage, Sub Frame Connectors, making custom this and custom that so I've learned how to weld and also how NOT to do stuff! I don't know everything because there is always room to learn. With that thought I never claim to know everything but will listen because other people look at things differently than myself, and Two heads are always better that One! In fact I was talking to 77turbopinto today and he told me some very VALUABLE INFORMATION, and it will save me so much time so I am always open to other peoples opinions.
Anyway I'm from Northeast Ohio and there isn't to many Pinto Guys around here, at least ones that I have met. But I love going to Drag Strip on Wed. nights (Gruge Night) Because I am usually the only one there with a Pinto especally a Street Pinto, Racing in the Animal Class, also Grabbing Gears which is really unheard of beacuse you cant beat the repeatability of an Automatic Tranny. That is all part of the reason I've loved the Pinto since i was a wee little tot, because I always vote for the under dog. After all I'm a Cleveland Browns Fan!
Here is a link to some pics of both of my cars. Unfortunately the Cruising Wagon is scrap now. Chassis was just too rotted out, you know that when you jack the car up in the air by just one side and you can't open the door and when you do get it open you can't close it again, oh it had Sub-Frame Connectors also!
