Hey guys,
I should of done this a long time ago. This is my pinto that I'm doing the 2.3t swap in. I got it from a guy who just had it sitting in the woods. These are the rims and tires that it came with, although I did clean them up. I paid 400$ for it back in the spring and hopefully it will be up and running with the turbo in the next few months. I'll be taking the engine, transmission, and rear out of it so if anyone needs a great running 2.3 lemme know. - Amin
A couple more.
Looks good, Me and wife might have to cruise up to see the falls and give ya a shout. I had to buy her the book about the flood when we were up the a couple of years ago. How is it that when I am up that way that I never see any Pinto's?? LOL Keep up the great work. Them turbos are fun.
Wow, that car is in Great shape!! Looks real good. Beautiful rims. Putting in a different drive train?? What exactly is going in? Can we see some pics of the engine compartment? Doesn't look like you've got too much work. Good luck!!
Thanks for the kind words guys. I think the pics make the rims look a little better than they actually are. I took those pics riht after I gave it a total cleanup. These ten holes rust up so easily. I am almost finished gathering all the parts for the swap. I'm driving it right now so it's a little hard to work on....but in the next week or two I'll be taking it off the road and putting in an 88' turbo coupe engine, T3 turbo, T5 tranny, 8-inch rear, TC intercooler, 8UA computer, and some drag radials. I'm just trying to get it up and running, then once I have a little more experience under my belt I'm planning on upgrading that list. It is sooo hard to be patient!!! I want to burn some ricers soo bad...my town is full of v-tec/cold air intake/fart cans just waiting to be embarassed

he he, you do that fella. I never new what ricers were until it was mentioned on another forum. They come across as being dead legs http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=ricer&r=f In England they are known as Chavs http://www.chavscum.com/culture.php
