Title: '79 Sedan Trunk Question
Post by: Original74 on October 02, 2006, 10:24:37 PM
Anybody have a '79 Sedan? I have a question about the original material in the trunk. The brochures I have state a space saver spare. I know there is some type of padding, but what is the material on the trunk floor from the factory for this year?

Thanks in advance,
Dave

the padding in mine looked like it was for sound proofing the back more then anything else. then there was a rug like they use in the hatchbacks. otherwise that was it.  :sorry:

I do have the soundproofing, 3/4 thick material, but wondered what the material was that was on top from the factory. My '74 has a thick piece of vinyl. Don't know what the factory was putting in the '79's.
