Title: can't save 'em all....
Post by: Trent on October 01, 2006, 01:09:26 AM
I just found out theres a '79 hatch down in phoenix, guy says it came as a package with a '77 trunk and '73 wagon "with a porthole"

he wants 100$ to save the '79 hatch from the crusher,

then i asked about the wagon. and trunk model.

he said he ran them through the crusher 2 days ago becasue nobody showed any interest in them.

i was shocked.

now im trying to round up 100$ to get the '79, figure i can drop it off at my moms place and save it until someone wants it, sell it off for wat i paid for it, atleast then it wouldent get crushed.

also - anyone know what a good price for a '74 trunk would be? 60000 miles, according to the gentleman selling it he just needs it gone and his wife goes out to start it once or twice a year.... he also mentioned it will need TLC like35 times in our conversation oh and the body is in "cool condition"
