Anyone know if you need to change tips on spray gun if you shoot metalic paint? Also do you need to have a agitator in the cup, to keep the metalic from staying on bottom of cup??
I would assume that your using a suction gun ( the paint pot below the gun itself). It depends on the type of gun it is. If its a Sharpe then yes. For metallics you probably ought to have a tip #80. If its a pressure pot you would need a #80 as well. This also works for devibiss paint guns. I don't think you need an agitater. Have you ever considered a gravity feed gun? You have better paint flow, less overspray and it goes on alot better.
