i am buying a 76 bobcat with the v6 and a c3 auto. i want to swap the 6 with a 302 or 289. i am wondering how hard it would be. and the cheapest, simplest way of doing this. and if it will work. help please!!
Anything will work when you throw enough money at it. I don't know if the tranny/engine bolt patterns are the same, BUT if you put a v8 in front of a c3, you will get good at swapping trannies (like it or not).
Check out the FAQ section; LOTS of great info.
KEEP IN MIND THAT NOT ALL MUSTANG II PARTS BOLT INTO A PINTO.
