Recently I bought a fender from quickrick & after getting all the minor rust repaired (i.e. cut out) I primered it & got ready to paint it. Since the car is gonna get repainted I was going to use auto paint spray cans to paint the fender until then, but ran into a problem. The color doesn't seem to be sold anymore. It is a 1977 sedan & the paint color is medium saddle metallic. I checked the paint code against the book at work - I work for advance auto- but the code isn't in the book. I think it was 8K, but not too sure & it's too dark to check.
Anyone know where I can get it? It's going to be a while before it's painted so I'd like to have the car all the same color if possible.
Thanks
Forget auto parts places and go to an auto body supplier. If needed most of them can match the color with a machine.

Some of the better paint stores can even put the paint into spray cans for you.
Thanx. I'll have to try that out.
