this is a help forum? right? why no one answered my questions? asking again!
I have never done a v8-Pinto swap, but I do know that the two cars are NOT identical, and all the Stang II v8 parts are made to put the v8 in the Stang. Yes, some of the Stang parts make this swap easier, like the bell, flywheel/flexplate, clutch/t-c, oil pan, and MAYBE a few other things, BUT other items like the mount brackets and radiator will not direct bolt in. If you have the opportunity to look at both cars I suggest that you do that. Also keep in mind that Ford re-did the front of the engine bay of the 74 and later Pintos to make room for the larger 2.3; even with that, the V8 does not have much room. The V8 MII radiator is a VERY tight fit even with a 2.3 (I have one in my turbo car), and a full custom mounting system MUST be made.
As far as YOU getting upset with this board and it's members, and posting that in your SECOND post.... well I just don't know what to tell you. Sometimes a simple "hello" is better. There is a bunch of info on this topic that has been posted and with minimal searching on YOUR part...

Dear aalift.
This is a good form to find valuable information about topics and projects. However one should take the time to look at all of the posts. For example. you might look in the Pinto FAQ heading and read what 78pinto has done, their is some valuable info on what you are trying to accomplish. Maybe it is not exactly what you are trying to accomplish but helpful at best.
I know when you are working on a problem you want the answerers as quickly as you can get them, but you see nobody, to my knowledge is getting paid to answere. The more curtiouse you are the more posts you shall receive, Its kinda like life. Good luck.
