oh sorry, this is the 1973 Ford Pinto Sportiva Concept
I actually do have a few photo's of Pinto concept cars from 1969. I will get them scanned and post them here in a few days. Away from home for a few days.

Wow those pics were pretty neat. I especially like the one that had a "Shelby" looking taillight pannel.
Thank You. Just remember "You learn something new every day!"

Kinda looks like an early 70s Camaro, miniaturized.
I was always partial to the look of the targa top on the Sportiva. Kinda like the Honda Del Sol of the Civic world.
Imagine one of these today with a 2.3T EFI and a decent handling package. The lower center of gravity would make them pretty good canyon carvers, just like the S2000s, Solsitces and Miatas of today, or the MGs, Porsche 356s and Healeys way back when.
A 'sport compact', before the term was ever coined.
personally speaking; i'm glad they weren't built. they are not good looking at all
Very interesting concept cars. The tailights on the red car
are identical to those used on the 70-71 Torino.

My goal for next year: BUILD one of these. OK, maybe not - but a guy can dream. Neat!
