Hi Folks:
I just got back my 1977 Pinto dash pad. It was restored by

Attached is a picture of the dash pad. They did a really nice job.
If anyone is interested in restoring your dash pad you might want
to check them out. However, be prepared to wait some time
to get your dash pad back. Their service is in high demand.
I shipped by dash pad at the end of April and just got it back this
week in September, approximately 14 weeks.
Best Regard,

If you don't mind me asking, what did their service cost? Looks really good.
Later,

Hey Crash_AF:
The items on the invoice were:
Dash Pad Restoration - $350.00
Color Match - $80.00
Freight - $51.00
Total - $481.00
I'll grant you that is a lot of money to have a dash pad restored.
However, the way I look at it is I had my original dash pad for 29
years and if I get 29 years out of this new restored dash pad then
it's worth it.
What's more important, I now have a nice, new, and shiney ;D, dash
pad that will look great in my Pinto.
Best Regards,

HI, just a note, when I had Pintos I bought the hard dash covers from J.C. Whitney and glued them on and they really looked nice. Not too expensive for a professional look.
The extra can buy a lot of gas. :fastcar:
I have always wanted to use just dashes for a Pinto Dash... It's good to know we now have experience...
from what I have heard, they make them better then original... they last longer and are better..
Money well spent, in my opinion!
