Looks great, gotta love a sedan. What do you have planned for it?
88 turbocoupe engine, nice header, GM 6.5 diesel turbo 4.11 gears, 8" and a nice blue bottle. 8)

Nice.
Looks pretty straight. Any rust under the carpet?
Plans are for an auto or stick?

Yea, rust hole under the pedels.
Has a C4 in it and will be getting a built C4 back in it.

This too looks almost familiar, I like the 10hole foxstang wheels on it. makes it look "broad shouldered"

Yea, the stang wheels look a LOT more agressive, and I think they actually go with the car pretty well.

You know, I see a car 'or find' like this one & get really excited. Most would, and do, think it's an affliction.
While I agree that this hobby is somewhat 'different', I like it.
That's a really sweet find, love to see what you do to it in the coming months,
Cool wheels!
Jim,
I too am restoring and doing the turbo swap thing. I have purchased a complete engine from an '88 Turbo Coupe. I have been all over turboford.org checking out what everyone does to these engines. The more I look, the more excited I get, but the more the budget gets busted!
I would like to follow your swap either here or in email. I have a site where I intend to post my progress and hopefully gather knowledge from guys who have done this. If you would like, check out www.classicpinto.com and throw me some advice. I am concentrating on the interior this winter.
Dave
Way cool.
I plan on posting updates here and on my own site.
You can go "hog wild" and drop a TON of money... or depending on your HP goal, it can be a very cheap project. Any questions you have on getting power out of the 2.3T, feel free to shoot em my way.
We got 230 hp at the wheels of an 86 SVO with only a log header, K&N, and a boost controller.
