Title: Whats this? 74 Wagon.
Post by: pintoguy76 on September 07, 2006, 03:55:06 PM
When i opened the glove box on my 74 wagon, i found two different kind of plug ins that werent plugged into anything, and a green plastic box with say 10 or 15 wires coming out of it. What is that box for? Any idea on the connetors? I dont think the connectors were ever connected to anything, i think they were just for hooking up optional equipment that this car never got.

If my memory serves me right, 74 would not start untill you buckle up the drivers seat belt, and that was the control box for that system. If it did not start with the belt buckled then there was a red button under the hood that you could push and it would bypass that system and start.
