So, I went to get new seats for my wagon... I found the smallest forward recliners I could. (93 Honda Civic... the price was right). Well, they are ~4" too wide.
Anyone have any ideas on any seats to replace mine? I'm looking for something a tad sportier than the current, stock ones.
I need them to 1. Fit, 2. recline forward so I can access the back seat.
Thanks,
I'am looking for the same. I currently have T-bird seats. But I also want something sporty & smaller with side support.
Many of us have had great result`s with Ford Escort bucket`s...they fit well with minor modification`s...hope this help`s!

Hmm... good news then, my sister-in-law has an Escort GT... now I just need to bogart her seat for an hour. ;)
The Civic seat would have fit if not for the buldge out from the transmission tunnel. Didn't want to bang it up and find out my transmission wouldn't fit back in there.
I really liked the seats in my '87 Honda Prelude. I might try to see if I can find some of those, too.
Hey Adam; It's Kevin from Toronto. I have a pair of Prelude seats set up to go into my Cruising Wagon. They are a snug fit but they do fit. I have the optional 4 way seat track which helps to lift the seat up enough to clear the trans tunnel. They are narrow at the bottom but flare up wider towards to top of the bottom seat cushion.Very comfortable seats and look good too.
Hope your project is going well. Did you get the 5.0L into it yet?
Kevin, glad to hear your ride is running well.
No, the 302 isn't in yet. I just got the T5 and a bellhousing. I need to get a clutch pack and then I'm going to fit it in there.
Do you know what year your seats came from?
Mine's not running yet. I have the 2.3 out to add the T-5 that I got from you. The seats are out of an '87 Prelude.
