Welcome aboard. You'll discover a lot of nice folks here. I like to see the front wheels going up on a Pinto. Great pic. You will have to tell us all about your drive train now. How long have you had it & so on. Again welcome

Canton huh? I bought my first Pinto, a 78 runabout from Alliance Ohio. If I remember right that's about 20 to 30 minutes away.... Like they said welcome aboard.

The engine is a 306 with edelbrock heads, stock crank and rods. Tranny is a C4 with a trans brake. 9" w/ 4.86 gears. mini tubbed with a 28x11.5x15 slick. Motor was just freshened with a few minor changes ;) in July and best so far is 11.31 @ 118mph. at Fun Ford in Norwalk. As for the NMRA race in c-bus I am not going to make it this year. Alliance is about 15 minutes east of Canton. Thanks for the welcome guys :tgif:

It is a ladder bar leaf car, basically a backhalf car. I can't complain at all. The car hooks great and the front tires are even when they are off the ground.

The spoiler is a $110.00 pos!!! I bought when my dad gave it to me for my 16th b-day and when I got it, it was just a few pieces of aluminum with no strut rods. I found out the strut rods are $35.00 each and I said screw that and just made it work. I hate it but since I paid all that money for it I was using it. I am building a tube chassis capri with a clutchless jerico so when it is finished I am puttin the pinto back on the street to go terrorize some big and small block chevy's and of course you have to mess with the imports ;D I had some issues with the car recently and got most of them squared away and went my best e.t. in the 1/8th  mile. 7.083 @ 96.12. I will have her in the 10's before the end of the year!!
