First day I fixed the timing issues.
Yesterday, I had an old high school buddy sandblast under the rear fenders and on the bottom on the passenger door. Applied the first layer of fiberglass to the bottom of that door.
Got the port-hole panels on Wee Beastie today. Then started a long session of fiber-glass rust patching. Hopefully the POR-15 goes on and the rear wheels go back on by tomorrow night.
Hope to drive it to the swap meet in Onawa, Iowa on Saturday and Sunday.
Sorry, I just had to hear my head roar on this....
Update: I am finishing up most of the fiberglass rust work underneath the rear fenders. The fibeglass on the rest of the car is still only half done. Also installed the sport mirrors while waiting for that stuff to set up.
Getting a little Pintoed out. Looking forward to the swap meet and not doing anything more Pintoey other than driving that sucker.
How about some pics of the fiberglass work? Would also like to hear your impression of the POR-15.
Thanks,
Dave
