I dont have any pictures of her yet, but I love my Penny! She is named such because we didnt pay a penny for her. We traded her for labor time on a 77 Studabaker, LOL. A 72 hatchback with the 2.0, she is the original Avacado green and cream color with the shag carpet and all. My odometer says she has 85,000 miles, but she may have more. One of the most expensive friends I have. We've replaced her water pump, radiator 2x, motor mounts, belts, coolant hoses ignition coil and switch, and more, in the last five months. Soon to come are tierod ends and a new motor and trani!!! Everyone thinks Im crazy but shes my baby and she is going to haul my soon to arive son around, Im suprised that the car seat will fit in her. Sure she has her dents and she burns a little oil. It takes her a while to warm up in the morning, but she does 95!!!!! And gets way better gas mileage than my husbands 92 F-150!!! If I fill her up she'll give me over two weeks driving around, his you have to fill her up once a week, both 16 gallon tanks. I got in trouble for getting her to do 95, but I was told she would be lucky to hit 75 floored, and that was the speed limit, so I wasnt paying attention. Next thing I know, Im passing other cars so I look down and BAM!!! Shes doing 90. I figured Id see how fast she could go and then a State Po passed me going the other direction. LOL!! Imagine getting passed by a 72 Pinto on the interstate!!!!
