need/want to time my 73 pinto... 2.0 ltr.

The timing cover I have is missing the pointer to set the timing...

If I could get a good pic of the front of the timing cover I should be able to figure it out from there.

I have a 72 2.0, would that help or are they a little different?

a picture of a 72 should be the same as a 73 so I guess/hope that would work...

I have been trying to time/tune without and I hope a picture of the cover and pointer will give me some reference

and a new cover would be nice... mine has a lot of rust and is missing the timing pointer

Many Thanks jgpinto72 ! with your help my question was answered.

I was looking for the timing pointer to be on the cover like it is on the 2.3 in my 77 wagon

it's on the other side of the lower pully on the engine.
